  • Greeting people entering the establishment, determine the nature and purpose of the visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.

    •  Operate telephone switchboard in a courteous and professional manner to answer, screnn, or forward calls, receive and deliver the messages in writing, verbally or electronically and organize/receive courier deliveries.
    •  Process and prepare memos, correspondence, travel vouchers, or other documents.
    •  Provide information about establishment, suchas location of departments or offices, employess within the organization, or services provided.
    •  Maintain and update appointment calendars.
    •  Filing important documents, maintaining files, etc.
    •  Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies scheduling equipment service and repairs.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    Accountants prepare and examine financial records, ensuring records are accurate and that taxes are paid. Different types of Accountant duties and responsibilities may include the following:

    •  Reconciling the company's bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
    •  Completing analysis of the employee expenditures
    •  Managing income and expenditure accounts
    •  Generating the company's financial reports using income and expenditure data
    •  Keeping a check on the company's finances based on financial status

  • The role of an Administrative accountant is to act as support for the accounting department of a company. The role is vital for the smooth running of the business. An accounting administrative assistant needs to be skilled in mathematics, communication, time management and typing. It is also important to have the work well with others and be detail oriented.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    •  The daily activities of an accounting administrative assistant may include answering the telephone, filing, faxing, assisting visitors, managing appointments and managing the daily office schedule.
    •  Creating spreadsheets and presentations and filing.
    •  Administrative duties may include working on special projects, managing the office and supervising other staff members.
    •  Accounting tasks, such as preparing checks, creating budgets, calculating billing statements, preparing and submitting tax forms, coding documents, compiling financial records and managing inventory records are also completed.
